Four days of competitive racing during the Pendennis Cup will be complemented by a shore-side entertainment programme allowing Owners, Captains, Crew, event sponsors and invited guests to enjoy the delights of our home port of Falmouth.
The full schedule will be as follows:
Racing
Race Days: Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, Friday 30th, Saturday 31st May.
Thursday 29th May: Lay Day (no racing).
Race timing to be announced.
The start and finish lines will be located off Pendennis Castle, with the racing yachts visible from Pendennis Point or St Mawes.
Monday 26th – Yacht Registration
Captain’s briefing, Events Square Marquee
VIP Captain and Owner’s reception (by invite only)
Each race day will consist of a morning Skippers briefing, pre-race guest registration and a post race bar at the Pendennis Cup marquee on Events Square. The racing will be complemented by the following events:
Tuesday 27th May - Race Day 1
Welcome BBQ, Royal Cornwall Yacht Club (RCYC)
Our welcome event, held at the RCYC is designed to allow all competitors, sponsors and regatta organisers to enjoy each other’s company in the relaxed environment of the Club House, which itself is steeped in classic yacht racing history. Welcome drinks provided courtesy of Superyacht UK.
